We’ve finally released the long promised GPU accelerated path tracer. You’ll find info and performance measurements in this post: Voxel GPU Rendering in Avoyd 0.21.
In addition we’ve
- Improved the ‘Render’ and the ‘Edit Tool’ windows.
- Made the Minecraft importer water less transparent - you’ll need to reimport for this to apply, or change the material transparency manually.
- Made many more changes and fixes listed in the full changelog.
Note that all the improvements and the GPU renderer are only available in the paid version of Avoyd and we’re planning to slightly increase the price of Avoyd on the 2nd of May.
