Avoyd 0.25 Beta - Light Emissive Image Import
Avoyd » Devlog
Avoyd 0.25 first beta build is out with improvements to the voxel editor:
You can now easily import flat images in addition to heightmaps, with the option to make them emit light. This is useful for lighting your scene with for example a starfield or the view outside the window of a room. How to import and use flat emissive images to light renders.
Another new feature: if you want to add Materials to a group you can now do so in the Material Tool using the + button above the grid of material swatches.
Image description and credits: metallic voxel spaceship made by us and lit by an emissive image of the Pillars of Creation (by NASA Webb space telescope), edited and path traced in Avoyd.
